Trusted UK suppliers
We stock ranges from trusted carpet and flooring manufacturers, so we can match the right floor to your Warrington home and budget.
Our own team
When you book carpet or flooring fitting in Warrington, the people who measure your rooms and the people who fit them all work for us. Some flooring companies pass the fitting to subcontractors. We don’t, and we fit carpet to BS 5325, the British Standard for installing carpet.
For hard floors, we fit click LVT, glue-down LVT, laminate and sheet vinyl, with the right underlay and finishing trims for each room.

Local homes
Warrington’s homes range from 1930s semis and new-town estates to brand-new builds, and each type needs something different from its floor.
Semis are the most common home in Warrington. A typical job is a full stairs, landing and lounge refresh. A soft saxony suits bedrooms and lounges, and laminate or LVT works well in a hallway that takes muddy shoes.
Many homes in areas like Birchwood, Padgate and Westbrook were built from the 1970s onwards. After 40 or 50 years, many are ready for new floors throughout, and a knocked-through kitchen-diner suits LVT.
New builds usually come with concrete floors downstairs and chipboard upstairs, and a fixed move-in date. LVT downstairs and carpet upstairs is a popular mix. Read our guide to new-build flooring.
Terraces near the town centre and in Latchford often have narrow, steep stairs and old timber floorboards. We check old boards for loose or squeaky spots before fitting, and a dense, hard-wearing carpet lasts longest on the stairs.
Good to know
40.3% of Warrington households live in a semi-detached house, more than any other type of home.
15.2% of households rented privately in 2021, up from 11.2% in 2011. Rentals need tough, easy-clean floors.
Warrington’s population grew by 4.3% between 2011 and 2021, to around 211,000.
Warrington was designated a new town in 1968, which is why so many estates, such as Birchwood, date from the 1970s and 1980s.

Stairs and landings
Stairs are the hardest-working floor in the house. We measure and fit stair carpet and stair runners for straight flights, winders and landings, and every flight is priced individually after a free measure.
A fitted stair carpet covers each step from wall to wall. A runner leaves a strip of the stairs showing on each side, which suits painted or varnished stairs. See our stair carpets and runners page, or read the best stair carpet for dogs and pets.
Hard flooring
The look of wood or stone at a lower price, tough enough for lounges, bedrooms and hallways. Best in dry rooms. Laminate flooring →
Waterproof, warm underfoot and quieter than laminate, so it’s popular for kitchens and open-plan new builds. Our floor fitters lay click, rigid-core and glue-down LVT, including herringbone. LVT flooring →
Sheet vinyl, often called lino, is the most affordable waterproof floor, and ideal for kitchens, bathrooms and rentals. Vinyl flooring →
